“This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs.”

“No hot water in the shower. Nasty carpet in the room. Everything felt very damp with a musty odor.”

“Not too crazy about the outside of the hotel, no elevator too second floor. Pool looked like it was a little green with someone working on it late at night. Gym is a no... no wipes or sanitizer, equipment wasn't even plugged in and is rather old. The room itself was the bright spot for this price point. Staff was also very friendly.”

“The rooms were very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The cow hide chairs though were very slippery and we carried in a chair from the reception area to sit on. The little magnifying mirror would be better replaced by an illuminated one on the wall by the sink.”

“This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside……
